Jetski Trailer
The Issue
A Christchurch businessman had bought a brand new jet ski to enjoy. He had an existing old marine trailer but it was unsuitable and he wanted a brand new custom made aluminium jet ski trailer designed for travelling distances and easy operation. He had some ideas of his own but needed an engineer who could make them a reality.
The Action
Agnew Engineering sat down with the owner to hear his ideas and design initial drawings of the prototype complete with desired features.
Once terms were agreed and final drawings were complete, Agnew got to manufacturing the trailer. Agnew Engineering is agents for YHI Automotive wheel rims, tyres and batteries, so can complete custom builds such as trailers and shuttles in their entirety.
“As we were building it we were mindful of the custom features he wanted to incorporate,” says Brian, “including new wheels and tyres.”
The Result
Resulting in a very cool, custom made trailer, purpose-designed for a brand new jet ski. One which was complete with rims and tyres and ready for its warrant of fitness inspection. Also, a happy client with a roadworthy trailer ready for hours of new adventures.
